My make up Collection and desk set up

There are hundreds of posts on youtube and on blogs in which people show others their make-up collection/storage methods etc, and so I wanted to create on also.

I have only recently got into taking more pride in my appearance, and as I lose weight I find myself caring more about the way I look and this wanting to take more care in make-up and how I organize and store it. I currently do not work, thus cannot afford any higher end brands very often so generally stick to high street brands or discount websites as a source for purchasing more.

So without further ado, here Is my collection and how I store it all. If you want more images, its best to check out my youtube video.

I purchased the desk from antique/junk shop near me for 30 pounds. It looks a bit vintage, but I do plan to stain it darker and change the handles to make it look a bit more modern. To the right I have my plastic drawers which is where i store my make-up.
On the desk I have my mirrors, hair straighteners and other items, and to the left I have my small bookcase with plastic containers for additional products. Under my desk you can see my fluffy cow foot warmer!!

Below you can see my coloured drawer set. I have each drawer labeled so I know what each one is for.

Below is what I have on top of my coloured drawers. It is a plastic ear-rings holder, scented candle and photo of my husband and I on our wedding day.

Below is what I have on the right edge of my desk. The soap and glory bag is what I use if I ever go away for the weekend. The mirrored box is for sweet treats, and the plastic tray is generally used for bits and bobs and make-up I am reviewing/testing.

Below are the plastic containers I have on my bookcase. The one top left stores my body sprays and perfumes, the top right stores my hair products, bottom left stores random body products such as deodorants and shaving gels, and bottom right stores things such as self tan, nail varnish remover and hand creams/lotions.

It is not the prettiest of set ups I know, but I have only been back in the UK since June so I haven't had chance to get it exactly how I want it yet. It does fulfill the need right now though, and everything is organized in a way that I know where it all is and can access it easily.
